When you consistently rank in the top 1% of Real Estate Agent in metro Denver and receive the Excellence Award from the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® for five years for production, clearly you’ve chosen the right career. Josh isn’t exaggerating when he says he was “designed” to be in real estate. “Lots of professionals say they love people, but I think my track record is the greatest proof point of how true that is,” says Josh.
Starting his career in 2008 with a boutique brokerage, Josh soon thereafter launched his own brokerage, Steck Real Estate, focusing on residential real estate as well as investments and multi-unit properties in Denver. “It was clear that was going to be the only active segment for years to come. Many people dream of owning rental property, but they need direction in getting started even during the best of times.”
After one decade of owning his own brokerage, Josh decided it was time to join Kentwood Real Estate. “Kentwood’s decades of professionalism and respect in the community made it the perfect place for me. We provide the highest level of service and integrity in everything we do.”
Listing, staging, and selling homes is Josh’s professional passion, but community service is his personal joy. He and his wife, Carlee, volunteer for the Denver Santa Clause Shop which provides toys to kids that otherwise wouldn’t receive Christmas presents. And when they’re not making wishes come true, he also sits on the board of the Downing House, a historic Denver estate that has been a cradle of fellowship and mentorship for over 50 years. Josh enjoys fishing, biking, and skiing. A father of two boys and 1 girl, his home in Cherry Hills Village is always in a state of controlled chaos. “At least I like to think it’s under control.”
